With a brief of achieving a minimum 5-star hotel feel, ETC Solutions set about creating a lighting arrangement in combination with Hassell Interiors that responded to the architecture of the place, and the needs of the residents.
From a welcoming external entry, a stimulating and an uplifting main entry lobby, library, and lounge space, residents can enjoy the feeling of a high quality hotel environment. Good levels of illumination to vertical surfaces is key in providing visual cues to aged residents, assisting with wayfinding and amplifying the contrasting surfaces and textures. The external lighting to the village green, incentivises families to spend extended time with their loved ones into the evening.
ETC Solutions completed consultancy on the general electrical services, call systems, dry fire, electronic security, and vertical transportation. The documentation of the project was completed successfully coordinated in Revit to LOD 300.
