Our goal is to exceed client expectations and industry norms, thinking outside the square to create better outcomes, for people and our environment.
What motivates us is achieving successful outcomes for our clients. We excel at this through quality design, innovation and a passion for what we do.
Good design is often talked about but great design is more often the collaborative effort of a talented design team committed to the success of your project.
Our team share a united view that sustainability and life cycle are integral to responsible design.
Listening and communicating to develop better outcomes for clients.
The project is based on passive solar design principles, is highly insulated and double glazed. The environmental impact of the building is further minimised through a heat recovery system, conditioned air supply through under floor disbursement and a large Photovoltaic System.
A key feature of the design concept and the library and function hall spaces for the Mary Davies Library and Community centre are the structural trees and uninterrupted timber ceilings or ‘canopies’. ETCs lighting design achieved the vision of a clean, services free ceiling by using projector up-lights to indirectly illuminate the large open flexible spaces. Equally set around each structural tree column these expressive light fittings add to the overall design feature and have become an integral part of the design.
