ETC has had a long term relationship with Irene McCormack Catholic College, which has been spread over six stages at the Butler campus. Most recently ETC completed the design, documentation and construction services of a double storey multiuse Gymnasium.
The northern end of the new double storey building incorporates mixed use facilities for the College. These facilities consist of function/dance studio, general teaching and toilet amenities on the ground floor, with music classrooms, practice rooms and staff offices on the first floor. These facilities are located adjacent a multipurpose indoor court which includes for dual basketball courts. The basketball courts are lit to an average 300lux, utilising 36 off 40W recessed LED sports panel lighting. The lighting levels are suitable for the College's recreational and educational requirements. At night the court lighting provides a light house effect, through the double storey glass wall façade. An electric scoreboard and shot clocks are provided to Court 1, along with electrically controlled basketball backboards to both basketball courts. A standalone public address system has been provided within the dual basketball courts area with recessed speakers installed within high level ceilings, to allow for background music and presentations/assemblies held by the College.
