Are you a Security Professional currently residing in Western Australia?

Then we would like to talk to you for the position of:

Senior Security Professional

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in provision of professional security consultancy services including:

  • Experience in all security-related Australian Standards and legislation
  • Liaising and advising on security matters
  • Provision of strategic Security Management advice
  • Conducting and documenting security risk assessments compliant with Australian Standards
  • Conducting security audits and reviews
  • Conducting and documenting CPTED assessments
  • Provision of Security Awareness services
  • Detailed design and documentation of locking, intruder detection, access control, intercom and CCTV systems
  • Development of security policies and procedures
  • Design of supporting electrical and communications infrastructure relating to security
  • Experience working in teams using BIM
  • Ability to attain an Australian Defence clearance
  • Excellent understanding of communication networks

Qualifications required for the position include:

  • A degree in Security Science (or equivalent)
  • A WA Security Consultant’s license (Class 2 and 4)
  • A recognised qualification in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) is desirable
  • WA Police integrity check
  • The candidate being registered as a Security Professional on the Australasian Security Professionals’ Registry is also desirable
  • A security construction and equipment committee (SCEC) endorsement would be considered favourably

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of current security products in the marketplace
  • High level professional reporting skills
  • Proficiency in one or more graphics software tools (e.g. BlueBeam)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients concurrently
  • High-level multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

This is a full time position and opportunity to lead and further develop ETC’s specialist security division which already has a stable work flow. Remuneration and potential for profit share ownership will be discussed commensurate to experience.
